Aeon Credit falls after early surge ahead of bonus issue (5139)

KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Aeon Credit Service (M) Bhd surged to an early high of RM13.38 on Monday ahead of its one-for-five bonus issue going ex on Tuesday.
At 11.02am, it was down 14 sen to RM12.78. There were 1.33 million shares transacted at prices ranging from RM12.78 to RM13.38.
The
FBM KLCI fell 1.09 points to 1,623.46. Turnover was 280.62 million
shares valued at RM358.23mil. There were 191 gainers, 272 losers and
239 counters unchanged.
Aeon Credit's bonus issue of 24 million new shares of 50 sen each will be traded and quoted on Tuesday.
