KPJ to buy Sri Manjung Specialist Centre (5878)

KPJ Healthcare Bhd has proposed to acquire a 100 per cent stake in Sri
Manjung Specialist Centre Sdn Bhd (SMSC) for a cash consideration of
RM14.25 million.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, the
healthcare provider said the acquisition will be through its
subsidiary, Ipoh Specialist Hospital Sdn Bhd (ISH).
"With the completion of the proposed acquisition, SMSC will be a
wholly-owned subsidiary of ISH," it said.
The
acquisition will be financed from internally generated funds of the KPJ
Group and positively contribute to the Group's earnings for the
financial year ending Dec 31, 2012. Bernama
