PM: Seven more high-impact projects under ETP to create 18,522 new jobs

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has announced seven more high-impact projects with investments totalling RM5.6bil.
The investments by Dialog-Vopal, 1progress and National Instruments are expected to boost the country's Gross National Income (GNI) by RM2.36bil
Najib said the projects would also create 18,522 new jobs.
"These
investments fit into our focus areas, which include high-technology,
green and alternative energy technologies, and knowledge intensive
industries.
"The Government remains focused on creating
conditions that are investor-friendly to enable businesses to thrive,"
he said at the progress update of the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) here Thursday.
