KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives are likely to trade lower nextweek on profit-taking after recent gains, dealers said.
A dealer said the FBM KLCI futures ended on a firmer note on Friday in
tandem with the cash market's performance.
He said, local institutional funds are expected to do a tactical shift in
asset allocation next, with selling into strength as opposed to buying on dips.
However, the decline would be minimal with foreign funds possibly lending
support to the market.

On a weekly basis, April 2013 advanced 25 points to 1,687.0 from 1661.5, May
2013 stood at 1,681.50, June 2013 improved 26 points to 1678 from 1,652
and September 2013 gained 23.5 points to 1,667 from 1,643.50.

Total turnover fell to 72,087 lots from 106,826 lots last week, while open
interest declined to 39,399 contracts from 51,998 contracts.
On a Friday-to-Friday basis, the benchmark FBM KLCI went up 17.02 points to
1,688.65 from 1,671.63 last Friday
