Tan Chong Q1 profit rises

KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd’s
pre-tax profit for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013 rose to
RM122.94mil from RM45.93mil in the previous corresponding period on
higher vehicle sales.
Its revenue surged to RM1.4bil, from RM45.93mil previously, the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
