AmInvest bags 2 EPF fixed income awards

AmInvest, a funds management business of AMMB Holdings Bhd, clinched two awards under the Domestic Fixed Income category

at the recent Employees Provident Fund (EPF) External Portfolio Managers Award Ceremony 2012.


AmInvest was named "Best 3-Year ROI Domestic Fixed Income Portfolio
Manager Year 2012" and "Best Domestic Fixed Income Portfolio Manager
Year 2012."


Chief executive officer Datin Maznah Mahbob said in a statement
today this recognition is a testament to the capabilities of the
AmInvest Fixed Income team, who have consistently stayed on top of the
league in delivering returns.


"Our fixed income fund managers have consistently managed to take
advantage of the market conditions via structural long-term strategy
implementation on macro analysis and tactical short-term trading based
on market timing in accordance with our sound investment philosophy and
process.
