IO appoints Sime unit as distribution partner
IO, the leading provider of data centre 2.0 technology, has appointed
Sime Darby's fully-owned subsidiary, Tractors Machinery International
Pte Ltd (TMI), as its exclusive distribution partner in Singapore,
Malaysia and Brunei.
"This partnership clearly reflects the
confidence of IO, a global leader in software defined datacentres, in
TMI's capabilities and track record," said Sime Darby Industrial Sdn
Bhd managing director Chong Kwea Seng in a statement today.
"We
are excited about tapping opportunities that will enable us to drive
growth in this area of sustainable data centre solutions that will
further empower businesses in Asia Pacific to better manage their
information technology," he added.
Through this partnership, TMI
would gain exclusive rights going forward to distribute IO.Anywhere
products anywhere within the territory. It also has access to IO
training and certification programmes, technology resources, sales and
