BIMB Q1FY2013 net profit up 14%

PETALING JAYA: BIMB Holdings
net profit rose 14% to RM74.1 million for its first quarter ended March
31, compared to RM64.9 million recorded in the previous corresponding
quarter.
Revenue jumped to RM655.2 million from RM576.9 million.
In
a statement on Tuesday, the company said the higher profitability was
mainly achieved on the back of RM78.3 million increase in revenue and
RM24.5 million improvement in allowances for impairment on financing and
advances, investment and other assets.
