KUALA LUMPUR (June 25): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower today, tracking the losses on the equity market, dealers said.
Spot month June 2013 and July 2013 fell 8.5 points each to 1,730.5 and 1,734 respectively, September 2013 declined six points to 1,735 while December 2013 slipped two points to 1,738.5.
Turnover expanded to 46,245 lots from 11,540 lots on Monday, while open interest stood at 79,045 contracts from 41,878 contracts previously.
The underlying FBM KLCI fell 9.55 points to end the day at 1,728.64. -- BERNAMA
