Equine Cap unveils RM1b Da:Men project
Equine Capital Bhd has unveiled its latest mixed development project called "Da:Men", or Gateway in Mandarin, comprising service apartments, shop offices and retail mall.
Located at the strategic intersection fronting Jalan Kewajipan dan Jalan Subang Permai, it covers over 3.6ha of freehold land in thriving USJ area in Subang Jaya.
The RM1 billion project, launched today by Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, is expected to be completed by end-2014.
Da:Men has, among others, a seven-level retail mall, 68 units of shop offices, and two 23-storey towers comprising 480 units of service apartments priced from RM350,000.
It is a joint development between Revenue Concept Sdn Bhd, the land owner, and developer Equine Park Country Resort Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Equine Capital Bhd.
Equine Capital Chairman Datuk Seri Tengku Ahmad Shah Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah said Da:Men was surrounded by established residential and commercial developments within close proximity to medical centres and 15 colleges and universities.
It possesses a ready catchment of 1.2 million residents of middle to upper-middle class within 20 minutes' drive from the entire Subang Jaya-USJ community, he said.
In addition, the project is adjacent to the proposed development of the light rail transit station expansion in Subang Jaya.
Abdul Khalid told a press conference that the development of Da:Men augured well for the development of Subang Jaya, noting that the per capita income of residents in the area was above the national average. -- Bernama
