KUALA LUMPUR (July 5): SAPURA RESOURCES BHD [] rose as much as 11% on the real estate, and telecommunication entity's special dividend.
At 10.43am, Sapura Resources changed hands at RM1.01 with some 874,000 shares done. The stock had earlier risen as much as 10.5 sen to RM1.02.
The firm said yesterday it will pay a special dividend 8.63 sen a share less income tax of 25%.
The stock will trade ex-dividend this July 16 while payment will be made on August 6.
