EPMB eyes Mid-East biz expansion

Automotive systems and components manufacturer, EP Manufacturing Bhd (EPMB), is eyeing to grow its business in the Middle East while tapping new export market such as Indonesia.
Its executive chairman, Hamidon Abdullah, said EPMB's export market in the Middle East stood at RM60 million and was projected to grow to about RM80 million in the next two years.
He said the company has started talks with its partner, who has also a Toyota distribution network in the Middle East, to expand its supply base to other countries apart from the Saudi market.
"The Middle East is an interesting market for us as its total industry volume is on the uptrend," Hamidon told reporters after the company''s annual general meeting here today. - Bernama
