KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 23): CIMB Group has announced that its Group Deputy CEO Dato’ Charon Wardini Mokhzani has resigned with effect from November 4, 2013.

Charon who is also Head of Investment Banking and CEO of CIMB Investment Bank Bhd will be joining Khazanah Nasional Berhad as the Executive Director in the Managing Director’s Office, said CIMB in a statement to Bursa Malaysia today.

Group CEO Dato’ Sri Nazir Razak will assume Charon's duties for the time being.

“We thank Charon for successfully leading and growing our investment banking business over the last 10 years,” said Nazir.
