development of aviation infrastructure.
Chief Executive Officer Ahmad Jauhari Yahya said more should be done to improve capacity at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) as it was probably one of the fastest growing in the region currently.
"We have to continue to invest in infrastructure to keep the KLIA growing.
"If we don't improve the infrastructure, in terms of air traffic for example, the KLIA will reach its limit and this might result in congestion," he told reporters after unveiling MAS' redesigned ticketing office at the KL Sentral here today.
He said MAS will continue to do its part in investments, to make travelling attractive and economical for the people.
On the new office, Jauhari said it is designed in such a way, to give MAS' retail outlets a new brand identity. We have also consolidated various services under one roof.
"This transformation is taking place at not only this MAS ticketing office, but at others worldwide," he added.
The Budget 2014 will be tabled in Parliament tomorrow by Prime Minister and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
