Ex-central bank assistant governor arrested

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested a former assistant central bank governor for accepting a RM100,000 bribe related to a contract to print polymer bank notes, the commission said via its Twitter account.
He is expected to be charged in a Kuala Lumpur court today, it said. -- Bloomberg
