Celcom to expand deposit centres for Celcom aircash to 8,000 next year

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 10): Celcom Axiata Bhd plans to expand its cash deposit
centres for the Celcom AirCash accounts to more than 8,000 touch points by
the middle of 2014.
In a statement today, Celcom said there were 1,400 touch points at present,
located strategically at public locations nationwide, including Celcom branches,
Blue Cubes, terminals and kiosks.
Celcom AirCash is a mobile financial service that allows subscribers to access
their money securely via their mobile phones and is offered as a free service to
every Celcom customer.
Celcom said through the service, the users' money is stored in a "mobile
wallet", a virtual account with a maximum limit of RM1,500, allowing them to
perform monetary transactions conveniently.
The Celcom AirCash service has been enabled at more than 3,000 online merchants to date, giving Celcom customers an easy and
secure method to make purchases and payments online.
