KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 18): Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) has set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Australia to grow the company's regional operations. The unit is known as Telekom Malaysia (Australia) Pty Ltd (TMA).
In a statement to Bursa Malaysia, TM said this is part of its expansion effort to cover the markets of Australasia and the Philippines.
“TMA will assume the role of TM’s regional sales office supporting sales requirements coming from Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and the Pacific Islands,” said TM.
