KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 29): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today, tracking the underlying cash market's strong performance today.
The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) finished 7.98 points higher, at 1,789.23 points.
January 2014 and June 2014 gained 6.5 points, to 1,789 points and 1,783.5 points respectively, February 2014 rose 7.5 points to 1,787 points, and March 2014 garnered 6.0 points to 1,786 points.
Turnover fell to 13,508 lots, from 26,230 lots registered on Tuesday, while open interest dwindled to 55,865 contracts, from 84,526 contracts yesterday.
