CI Hldgs says in 'exploratory' talks

Malaysia’s C.I. Holdings Bhd said it’s in “exploratory” talks with various parties on commercial proposals and a media report of a US$200 million offer for its Permanis Sdn Bhd unit doesn’t reflect the latter’s value.

“No definitive or conclusive terms have been agreed upon,” C.I. said in a statement in response to a Business Times report that Asahi Group Holdings Ltd is in talks to buy Permanis. -- Bloomberg
