Hibiscus-North Energy accord
KUALA LUMPUR: Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd’s jointly-controlled entity, Lime Petroleum Norway AS, has executed an additional agreement with North Energy ASA to acquire a 20% stake for production licence, PL509CS, in the North Sea, valued at 1 Norwegian kroner or55 sen.
North Energy was awarded operatorship licence in the 2013 Awards at Predefined Areas on Jan 21, 2014.
The transfer of the equity interest in the licence to Lime Norway is pending regulatory approval, the company said in a statement.
Lime Norway is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lime Petroleum Plc (Lime), and Lime is a jointly-controlled entity in which Hibiscus Petroleum owns a 35%. – Bernama
