KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 28):  Cocoa processor Guan Chong Bhd reported a net loss of RM8.5 million in the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2013. This compares with a net profit of RM25 million a year earlier.

In a statement to the exchange today, Guan Chong said full-year net profit fell to RM3.6 million from RM119 million a year earlier. Revenue  was lower at RM1.36 billion compared to RM1.45 billion.
