Berjaya Food net profit up
PETALING JAYA: Berjaya Food Bhd’s net profit for its third quarter ended Jan 31, 2014 rose marginally by 2% to RM8.06mil from RM7.90mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue increased to RM41.39mil from RM38.26mil previously.
The company told Bursa Malaysia yesterday that the higher revenue was mainly due to the full effect of consolidating the revenue of Jollibean Foods Pte Ltd (which was acquired in December 2012), as well as additional revenue from new Kenny Rogers Roasters restaurants opened in Indonesia.
