KUALA LUMPUR (Mar 24): XOX Bhd was actively traded today following news of its agreement with Swedish developer, e-horizon.
The company recently entered into a joint venture with e-horizon to jointly market its mobile service application, Voopee, to Europe and the United States.
At 2:50 pm today, XOX shares stayed unchanged today at 13 sen per share with some 22.3 million shares traded.
Unveiled in January 2014, Voopee allows smart phone users to have an actual second mobile number without the need for an additional phone or SIM card.
The Voopee service is currently available in Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Japan, Indonesia, UK, Australia, Thailand, China, Taiwan and Malaysia, the company said last Friday.
In its second financial quarter ended December 31, 2013, XOX narrowed its financial losses to RM712,000 from a loss of RM1.5 million in similar quarter a year ago. Its revenue for the quarter rose to RM11.3 million from RM9.38 million.
A technical analyst from RHB Research Institute told theedgemalaysia.com: “Current support for the stock lies around 12 sen with an immediate resistance of 15 sen and subsequent one of 17 sen.”
The stock is not on the radar of most research analysts.
