KUALA LUMPUR (Mar 31): Islamic financial services entity BIMB Holdings Bhd proposed a final single-tier dividend of 8.5% for the year ended December 31, 2013. Based on BIMB shares' par value of RM1 each, the dividend translates into 8.5 sen a share.
According BIMB's statement to the bourse today, the dividend was subject to BIMB shareholders' approval at the forthcoming 17th annual general meeting of the group.
The dividend will bring BIMB's full-year dividends to 12 sen a share.
In a separate statement, BIMB said trading of its shares has been halted from 11.10am till 2.30pm today. Prior to the suspension, BIMB shares changed hands at RM4.23.
