KUALA LUMPUR (Apr 14): MAA Corp Sdn Bhd has acquired 30 per cent stakes in Pusat Tuisyen Kasturi Sdn Bhd (PTKSB) and Keris Murni Sdn Bhd from AEC College Pte Ltd for RM1.6 million.

MAA Corp is a non-insurance business arm of MAA Group Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, MAA Group said the acquisition was a natural step for MAA Corp as it had already held 70 per cent stake each in the companies.

Both PTKSB and Keris Murni are involved in providing education services and operating educational tuition centres.
