| Wednesday, 27 August 2014 16:48 KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 27): Malayan United Industries Bhd (MUI), the flagship of tycoon Tan Sri Khoo Kay Peng, saw its share price gain 14% or 3.5 sen to 28.5 sen, as at 4:25pm. The stock has been on an uptrend since the beginning of July, rising 36% from 21 sen then. MUI had in July, announced the acquisition of a piece of vacant land in Jalan Mayang, near KLCC, from sister company Pan Malaysian Industries Bhd for RM26.3 million cash. |
