KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 23): Tan Sri Datuk Francis Yeoh Sock Ping, managing director of YTL Power International Bhd ( Financial Dashboard), has exercised 13.33 million units of warrants in the utility group today, a filing with Bursa Malaysia showed.
Yeoh still holds 14.72 million warrants in YTL Power or a 0.21% direct interest, thereafter.
Additionally, Datuk Sri Michael Yeoh Sock Siong, a director with YTL Power, had also exercised 7.66 million warrants in the company.
Michael still has 14.06 million warrants or 0.2% direct interest, and 2.66 million or 0.04% indirect interest thereafter.
The warrants, which were listed on June 18, 2008, have an exercise price of RM1.14. The derivatives have an expiry date on Nov 6, 2018.
The warrants gained 0.5 sen or 1.1% to 46.5 sen today, with some 736,900 shares done.
Meanwhile, the underlying mother share price has staged a rebound since end-August. The stock price has increased from RM1.42 in early September, to a high of RM1.64 during the latter of the month. It rose two sen or 1.27% at RM1.60 today, giving it a market capitalization of RM10.94 billion.
