KFC unit in land deal with Johor Land

KFC Holdings Bhd's wholly-owned unit, SPM Restaurants Sdn Bhd, has signed a sale and purchase agreement with Johor Land Bhd to buy part of the freehold vacant commercial land.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, KFC said it would pay RM9.17 million for the 134,818 sq ft land located within Bandar Dato' Onn.
"The intended purchase is for the purpose of setting up KFC, Pizza Hut restaurants and other retail outlets," it said. -- Bernama
