Bursa slams an UMA query on Nova MSC over share price jump

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 10): Bursa Malaysia has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query to business software solutions provider Nova MSC Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Financial Dashboard), over the recent rise in its share price and volume.
Nova MSC saw a sudden spike in its share price today, closing 18.5 sen or 42% higher than yesterday’s closing price of 13 sen. A total of 143.36 million of its shares were traded through the day.
“We draw your attention to the recent rise in price and volume of your Company’s shares,” said the exchange in an announcement today.
Bursa has requested the company to disclose any corporate development that has not been announced, rumour, report or any other possible explanation for the trading activity.
Nova MSC’s market capitalization stands at RM61.18 million, at its closing price of 18.5 sen.
