'MRT gives upside potential to KL city fringes'

The recently launched My Rapid Transit (MRT) project will provide upside potential to key interchanges at KL City fringes such as Sentul, Pusat Bandar Damansara and KL Eco-City.
HWANGDBS Vickers Research said in the top picks were the largest landowners there which included YTL Land, Selangor Properties, Guocoland Malaysia and SP Setia.
"Developers have also started pricing MRT potential into launches (such as KL Eco-City's 40 per cent premium to adjacent projects)," HWANGDBS said.
The prime minister launched the MRT project on Friday and unveiled the MRT Blue Line (Sungai Buloh-Kajang) final alignment.
Two more MRT lines expected are to be announced in Sept along with the public transport blueprint. -- Bernama
