Billion Power disposes 6.84% stake in Hubline
KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 29): Hubline Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Financial Dashboard) saw its major shareholder Billion Power Sdn Bhddisposed of a total of 221.7 million shares or a 6.84% stake since Dec 22.
According to the shipping group’s filing to Bursa Malaysia today, Billion Power sold the stake off market in all four market days last week.
Billion Power is controlled by Hubline’s CEO cum managing director Dennis Ling Li Kuang and his wife Christine Lau Swee Eng.
Billion Power previously held a 16.37% stake or 530.63 million shares in Hubline. Following the disposals, it now holds a 9.53% stake or 308.93 million shares.
Hubline’s counter has been crowded since mid-December for unknown reason. Trading volume touched 86.557 million shares on Dec 23, the second highest in the month.
The stock remained unchanged at four sen today, with 57.42 million shares changing hands, and was the third most traded counter, giving it a market capitalisation of RM129.65 million.
