SMPC saw 5.12% stake traded off-market

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 10): Steel player SMPC Corp Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Financial Dashboard) today saw 3.77 million of its shares, which represent a 5.12% of its total outstanding stake, traded off-market.
According to Bloomberg data, the shares were moved in two blocks - the first involving 3.2 million shares and the second involving 573,912 shares - for 46.5 sen apiece, which totalled RM1.76 million.
It is not immediately known who the parties involved in the transactions were.
SMPC (fundamental: 0.55; valuation: 1.2) closed at 62.5 sen today, up 1.5 sen or 2.46%, giving it a market capitalisation of RM46.1 million.
