KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 23): theedgemarkets.com highlighted seven stocks with momentum at Bursa Malaysia’s afternoon market close today. The list showed three stocks with positive momentum and four with negative momentum.

Stocks with positive momentum are:

Seacera Group Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Valuation: 3.00, Fundamental: 2.30) — unchanged at 83 sen

XOX Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Valuation: 0.20, Fundamental: 1.40) — up 0.5 sen at 23 sen

Stocks with negative momentum are:

Thong Guan Industries Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Valuation: 2.00, Fundamental: 2.25) — up six sen at RM2.03

Sapura Resources Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Valuation: 2.00, Fundamental: 1.40) — up six sen at RM1.14

Success Transformer Corp Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Valuation: 1.80, Fundamental: 1.00) — up 12 sen at RM2.06

Kobay Technology Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Valuation: 2.00, Fundamental: 2.50) — up 21 sen at RM1.38

The list of stocks with momentum is generated using a proprietary mathematical algorithm highlighting stocks with a build-up in trading volume and price. The algorithm differentiates between stocks that exhibit positive (+ve) momentum and negative (-ve) momentum.
