Kerjaya Prospek's private placement completed with oversubscription rate of 135%
By Billy Toh / theedgemarkets.com | May 20, 2016 : 8:40 PM MYTKUALA LUMPUR (May 20): Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd's second tranche of its private placement comprising up to 60 million new shares saw an oversubscription rate of 135% at an issue price of RM1.82.
The company, formerly known as Fututech Bhd, said 83.5% of the placement shares will be allocated to institutional investors and the remaining to retail investors.
"The oversubscription rate signifies the confidence that investors have in Kerjaya Prospek. I am excited that this exercise has been completed and am looking forward to bring this company to the next level," executive chairman Datuk Tee Eng Ho said in a statement today.
"We will work hard to deliver results and create value for the shareholders," he added.
Kerjaya Prospek's private placement comprises 100 million shares of 50 sen each.
On Bursa Malaysia, the stock closed unchanged today at RM1.92 with 28,500 shares traded.
