Bursa announces half-day trading tomorrow in conjunction with Hari Raya
By Tan Siew Mung / theedgemarkets.com | July 4, 2016 : 5:07 PM MYTKUALA LUMPUR (July 4): Bursa Malaysia Bhd said tomorrow's (July 5) trading will be open for the morning session only and there will be no trading in the afternoon in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Exchange regulator and operator Bursa Malaysia said in a statement today that it will be closed this Wednesday (July 6) and Thursday (July 7).
"However, clearing and settlement services provided by Bursa Malaysia Securities Clearing and depository services provided by Bursa Malaysia Depository will continue as usual on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, and the office of Bursa Malaysia Securities will remain open until the end of business day.
"Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will resume operations on Friday, July 8, 2016," the group said.
