KUALA LUMPUR (July 13): theedgemarkets.com highlighted eight stocks with momentum at Bursa Malaysia’s afternoon market close today. It showed five with positive momentum.

The stocks with positive momentum are:

Prestar Resources Bhd – up half a sen at 60.5 sen

Astino Bhd – down one sen at 69.5 sen

Technodex Bhd – up 1.5 sen at 15 sen

SLP Resources Bhd – down one sen at RM3.01

LB Aluminium Bhd – down one sen at 62 sen

The list of stocks with momentum is generated using a proprietary mathematical algorithm highlighting stocks with a build-up in trading volume and price. The algorithm differentiates between stocks that exhibit positive (+ve) momentum and negative (-ve) momentum.
