OSK completes BFIT Securities buy

OSK Investment Bank Bhd has completed the acquisition of 51.1 per cent
stake in Thailand's BFIT Securities Public Company Ltd (BSEC) for
approximately RM108.4 million.
In a statement today, the bank
said 48.85 per cent of the stake would come from Bangkok First
Investment & Trust Public Company Ltd and 2.25 per cent from other
shareholders of BSEC.
Its chief executive officer/executive
director, U Chen Hock, said BSEC would allow OSK the opportunity to gain
immediate access to Thailand's financial markets.-- Bernama
