Asahi to acquire Permanis for RM820m

Asahi Group Holdings Ltd will pay RM820 million (US$274 million) to acquire Permanis Sdn Bhd.
Asahi will acquire Permanis from C.I. Holdings, according to a
statement to the Tokyo Stock Exchange today. Permanis is PepsiCo Inc.’s
bottler in Malaysia. -- Bloomberg
