Proton launches higher-efficiency Saga FLX

Proton Holdings Bhd today launched the new Saga FLX 1.3L, which is expected to be priced between RM38,598 and RM44,998.
In a statement today, Group Managing Director Datuk Seri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir said the car will deliver a fuel consumption drop of four per cent in urban driving environment and 10 per cent on highways with the use of its Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) technology.
"With this new technology, the new enhanced model is expected to provide consumers with greater savings on fuel consumption and smoother drive," added Syed Zainal.
The launch followed the company's announcement earlier in June declaring the successful development and integration of CVT technology with its CamPro engine. -- Bernama
