Globetronics Technology Bhd has recorded a slightly higher pre-tax profit of RM15.92 million for the six months ended June 30, 2011 from RM15.567 million registered in the same period, last year.

Revenue also rose to RM136.365 million from RM129.317 million previously.

For the second quarter, the company recorded a slightly lower pre-tax profit of RM8.441 million compared to RM8.561 million in the corresponding quarter of 2010.

Revenue was up slightly to RM69.28 million from RM69.113 million previously, the company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.

The company expects to perform satisfactorily for the full year ending Dec 31, 2011. -- Bernama
