Intel (M) gets new MD for assembly, test
Intel Malaysia today announced the appointment of Robin A Martin as Managing Director for Assembly, Test and Manufacturing.
He would be responsible for Intel's operations in Penang and Kulim, Kedah, including the assembly and test operations, design centers, technology development and global shared services.
"Malaysia is an important focus for Intel''s global operations as it continues to move up the value chain and contributes towards the development of new technologies at Intel," said Martin in a statement today.
The company has invested US$4 billion (RM11.91 billion) in Malaysia and had about 10,000 employees.
