Kulim plans buyout offer for Sindora
Kulim Malaysia Bhd plans to make a buyout offer for its oil and gas shipping subsidiary Sindora Bhd, according to an exchange filing in Kuala Lumpur today.
Kulim, which halted its shares today, is already its biggest shareholder with a 74 per cent stake, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
Sindora, which also has plantation and timber interests, jumped by a record 29.3 per cent to RM2.65 today before suspending its shares pending an announcement. -- Bloomberg
