Results: Time dotCom H1 profit rises

TIME dotCom Bhd the second-largest but fast growing fixed-line telecommunications network and solutions provider in Malaysia, registers a pre-tax profit of RM51.5 million in the first half of 2011.
Perak Corporation Bhd pre-tax profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011 increases to RM15.95 million from RM12.72 million in the previous corresponding quarter.
United Malayan Land Bhd pre-tax profit for the first half of financial year ending Dec 31, 2011 rises to RM35.22 million from RM21.68 million in the same period of last year.
Iris Corporation Bhd posts a lower pre-tax profit of RM12.143 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011 compared with the RM14.401 million recorded in the same quarter last year.
IGB Corp Bhd pre-tax profit for the first six months ended June 30, 2011 rises to RM144.6 million from RM121.612 million in the previous corresponding period.
Genting Plantations Bhd pre-tax profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011 increases to RM190.934 million from RM95.586 million in the corresponding quarter last year. - Bernama
