Malaysia Aug 1-25 palm exports up 5.5pc

Malaysia’s palm oil exports rose 5.5 percent in the first 25 days of August compared with the previous month, estimated Societe Generale de Surveillance, an independent cargo surveyor.
A total of 1,365,693 metric tons of palm oil were tracked Aug. 1-25, SGS said in an e-mailed report today.
Malaysia exported 1,294,428 tons of palm oil during the same period in July, according to the surveyor. -- Bloomberg
