Firefly offers online direct debit service

FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd, the operator of Firefly Airline, has introduced direct debit service with Maybank2u.com and CIMB Clicks on its website as an added convenience for passengers.

In a statement today, Firefly's Head of Marketing and Communications,
Angelina Corrina Fernandez said the airline is now able to reach out to a larger
customer base and provide them with a new and convenient option of making online payment through its website.

"We're currently getting an average of 300 direct debit users, since both
facilities went live last month.


"The introduction of the direct debit payment facility will be especially
beneficial to the youth and young working adults segments.

"They now have convenient, easy access to our special promotional deals,
available only through online purchases," she added.

Angelina said the company will be continuously working with more banks
to roll out other direct debit payment and payment channel options. -- Bernama
