Malaysia growth trending 'upwards'
Malaysia’s economic growth is trending “steadily” upwards, International Trade and Industry Minister Mustapa Mohamed told reporters in Kuala Lumpur today.
The Southeast Asian nation expects gross domestic production expansion of between five percent and six percent this year, with inflation of between 2.5 per cent and 3.5 per cent, he said.
Total foreign direct investment should reach US$11 billion this year, said the minister. -- Bloomberg
