Malaysia to cut deficit in 2012 Budget: PM

Malaysia will announce new policies to help citizens cope with living costs while remaining “fiscally responsible” when Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak delivers the annual budget tomorrow, the premier’s office said in a statement today.
“This budget will be about the government delivering on our promise to ensure social justice while keeping our country on the strong economic course that will deliver long-term prosperity for all,” Najib said.
“I am totally focused on maintaining economic growth and cutting the deficit.” - Bloomberg
