HSBC lowers growth forecast for Malaysia
HSBC Holdings Plc lowered its growth forecasts for most Asian economies in 2011 and 2012, saying risks are rising in a region that’s “still tied to the global trade cycle.”
Forecasts for Hong Kong, South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand were among those that were lowered.
New Zealand’s 2011 forecast was raised while the estimate for next year was cut.
