Kencana rises as cheap valuation

Malaysian oil and gas services provider Kencana Petroleum Bhd shares rose as much as 5.8 percent on Wednesday as investors were drawn to the stock’s cheap valuation.
An analyst said that the stock was oversold the previous day and had fallen 6.6 percent, making the stock attractive to bargain hunters. -- Reuters
