The google widgets are pushing a lot of data traffice to our web browser. I checked the amount and was surprised to see that it runs to more than 160 MB as of now. That means that it is causing a lot of data to be pushed to my PC.

That could be the cause of the lagging.

Spike of memory consumption (two times the ideal) and also relatively high data downloads for 1-2 seconds. Can be quite torturing if the computer is not high spec (with 4GB ram) Giggle
